Philip Goforth

President

Philip is a dynamically trained real estate and construction professional, with over 14 years of experience.  Philip has an extensive background in the commercial real estate and construction industry, and has managed a significant staff to the successful completion of over one hundred thirty million dollars’ worth of projects.  Philip benefits from a degree in Economics and Finance from Kansas State University.  He began his management and construction education in the field and worked his way up the lines. His approach to the real estate development and acquisition process is both aggressive and innovative, but based on a solid foundation of time-proven principles. Philip utilizes several elite operating systems to help maintain control over development schedules, budgets, and overall quality of projects and properties.   He is hands on from the project feasibility phase to monitoring of every dollar that passes through the project.  Philip also has considerable training and experience in human resources, hiring, interviewing, and positioning other professionals where they can be best utilized in an operation.  Philip has been involved at various levels of development for hotels, shopping centers, and apartment developments.

In addition to Philip’s development and construction experience, he also was the co-owner of a boutique financial service business for several years.  While serving in this capacity Philip was exposed to multiple alternative investment classes (specifically real estate offerings), and the workings of the independent broker-dealer community.  While he was not licensed to sell securities, and did not sell any directly, he gained tremendous experience from the observation, vetting, and due diligence of these offerings.

Philip’s memberships include Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and St. Andrew’s Apostle Parish.

Gary Goforth

Executive Advisor

With over 40 years of industry experience, Gary offers his advice, guidance, and wisdom to help influence the company in a constant positive direction.  For more than 4 decades Gary has built, owned, developed, and consulted hundreds of commercial real estate projects throughout the United States.  His commitment to hard work, accurate execution, and concern for each customer is deeply embedded into the fiber of each Genesis entity.

Bryan Drummond

Field Operations

Bryan has been perfecting his construction skills for 24 years. Now a seasoned veteran, and literal expert in anything a building could need, Bryan manages our daily field operations, managing subcontractors, suppliers, and working with the design teams to execute the construction plan. Bryan is a vital part of our organization and the type of hard working dedicated professional we strive to staff our firm with.

Mario Rangle

Controller

With 20 plus years of accounting experience, Mario manages the daily needs of our construction accounting. From invoice entry and bill pay, to financial statements and inner face with our insurance and bonding company, he oversees each aspect of keeping every dollar accounted for.

Andrea Irons

Project Administrator

From historic tax credits and managing insurance programs, to writing subcontracts and processing submittals, Andrea can do it all. A multi-talented member that touches numerous aspects of every Genesis entity. Andrea is a dedicated team player and helps keep everyone on track and organized.
